THOMAS WHITE

Thomas White (right) is recorded in all censuses from 1841 - 1891
as a Potter in Bo'ness Pottery. The 1871 census gives the
additional information of Thomas being a Mouldmaker.

Circa 1870, the administrating body of the town of Bo'ness
changed from that of Harbour Commissioner to Town Council.

Thomas is credited with the making of the teapot below to
commemorate the occasion.

The teapot is transfer printed with the Etruscan pattern.
